OFFICIAL PLAN UPDATES

Stage One of the Elgin County Official Plan was approved by Elgin County Council on July 26, 2011.  Council has directed Meridian Planning Consultants to proceed to Stage Two with the preparation of a draft Official Plan.

The first draft of the Elgin County Official Plan will be available in the Fall of  2011.  An extensive consultation program will occur with various opportunities for input including open houses which will be advertised in local newspapers.
