Jim Jenkins

Mr. Jenkins was first elected to office in the October 2010 municipal election.

As a county councillor, Mr. Jenkins serves on the board of the St.Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre, and the Elgin County Museum Advisory Committee.

An agricultural producer, Mr. Jenkins is a graduate of Ridgetown College and currently owns Buttermoor Farm with his wife Jeanette.

Mr. Jenkins has a rich history of serving his community, including:  Co-Chair, Congregational Council, Belmont United Church; Past Chairperson, Ontario Dairy Herd Improvement Corp.; Past Chairperson, Western Ontario Breeders Corp.; and, is a former 4H Leader.

The Jenkins have two daughters.
