Warden Vowel is General Manager/Broker with McNeil Insurance Brokers in Dutton.  Councillor Vowel graduated from secondary school enrolled in business and commerce studies and holds a Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) licence since 1981.

Warden Vowel has been married for 38 years to David and they have a married son Jason, daughter-in-law Debbie, grandbaby Isabella and daughter Kristie.

In addition to being a County Councillor, Mrs. Vowel has membership in the Dutton-Dunwich Horticultural Society;  West Elgin Legion Br. 221;  O.E.S. Adah Chapter 276; and Tyrconnell Heritage Society.  Mrs. Vowel enjoys volunteering, travel and crafting.

Warden Vowel serves as a County Council representative on the Dispute Resolution committee; the Economic Development and Tourism Advisory committee; and the Elgin St. Thomas Public Health board; as well as her duties as Warden.
