An evening program for school-aged children that focusses on story-telling, songs, and crafts.

 Some branches offer after-school programs one or more days a week. Students familiarize themselves with the library while reading stories, playing games, and doing crafts with one another.

A fun way to keep school-age children interested in reading over the summer months. Each branch has a variety of activities that encourage reading through fun activities and programs based on a Summer Reading Club theme.

 Make your child's introduction to stories an exciting one. Through songs, fingerplays, and interactive books, young children learn that books can be fun.

Bring the whole family out for stories, songs and games.

For girls ages 9 to 11 and their mothers/guardians. Both mother/guardian and daughter read the book of the month and share their thoughts with the group.

An hour of fun for boys or girls. Enjoy sharing a novel based on a different theme each month plus activities.

 Three to five year olds learn how to interact with their peers while further developing their interest in books. Caregivers are encouraged to allow their children to attend the program on their own, but must remain in the library at all times.

Thanksgiving, Hallowe'en, Christmas, and other special days provide an opportunity to associate learning and fun. Other special programs include entertainers, puppet shows and visits by authors and storytellers.
