Free computer training @ your library!
Elgin County Library has eight youth interns in place until March 31, 2010. Call any Elgin County Library branch to book an information session. The CAP Youth Workers are here to help you develop computer skills and use the Internet and the many software programs available through Elgin County Library. Some of the most popular lesson topics include searching on the Internet, creating and using an e-mail account, and using programs in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Watch for posters advertising Cyber-Camps for children and adults. Sign up for one of these interactive group sessions on various themes and topics.
The CAP Youth Workers are available to speak to your community or business group on the services provided by the CAP sites. Call the library to book a speaker.
