Resources and links for the Assistive Devices Program

The County of Elgin Homes and Senior Services assists residents to access appropriate Assistive Devices through consultation with the resident, family members, Nursing staff, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapist along with other key members of the multidisciplinary care team. 

Where a need for Assistive Devices or referral for services arise, a detailed assessment is completed and assistance is provided to access the appropriate funding. A number of Assistive Devices vendors are available for the resident to choose from.
