- Maintenance and support of all County of Elgin systems and users
- Support for County local and wide area networks and communication equipment
- Development and implementation of a strategic plan regarding information technology and the County of Elgin
- Development and maintenance of the County's web site
- Purchasing of all computer equipment and software
- Development of the County's disaster recovery plan for IT
